    Problem publishing with FP 2002

I am having problems updating my website. I am running Windows XP
Professional SP2 Build 2600 with FrontPage 2002 SP2. My web hosting firm is
ValueWeb.

I did not have problems publishing in the past and have made updates to my
site before. But now when I try to update (republish) to my site I get shut
out.

When I try republishing my website by clicking on the “Publish Web” icon
,
this is the message I receive: "A web does not exist at
http://sayrenature.com/. Would you like FrontPage to create a web at that
location?"

When I try republishing the website using File>Open Web…, this is the
message I receive: “The folder ‘http://sayrenature.com/’ isn’t acces
sible.
The folder may be located in an unavailable location, protected with a
password, or the filename contains a / or \.”

Here are the ways in which I have tried to resolve the problem:
1.	I reinstalled the FrontPage SE
2.	I searched for and deleted all .web and .tmp files
3.	I repaired IE
4.	I ran “Detect and Repair” in FP
5.	I deleted the webpage pointer in My Network Connections
6.	I removed the terminal forward slash from my site’s domain name and tri
ed
publishing that way
7.	I added the www prefix to my site’s domain name and tried publishing th
at
way
8.	I checked my McAfee firewall to make sure that FP had full permissions to
access the Internet
9.	I checked IE to make sure that FP and my web hosting firm have full
permissions
10.	I bought a 10-pound sledge hammer

Whenever I attempt to update my website (republish), it does not first ask
me for my username and password. This is strange since it used to do so. Eve
n
the ValueWeb people were surprised by this.

Any help would be appreciated before I install number ten in my list above.

Try entering http://www.sayrenature.com/ for the location,
or opening the site in IE and using File Edit w/ FP

Actually, I've tried both of those suggestions before and still have the sam
e
problem. When trying to publish through the wizard or through File> Open Web
both http://sayrenature.com/ or http://www.sayrenature.com/ results in an
error message.

I'm beginning to think that ValueWeb has a corrupted FPSE file.

JPS: Try these articles:

The folder "http://Website" isn't accessible. The folder may be located on
an unavailable volume or protected with a password.

As an alternative, you may wish to download the FREE Jimco Open Web which
bypasses the web folders: www.jimcoaddins.com
