I am trying to publish two separate sites onto the same server that has FP
extensions installed. In the past, neither of my sites used features
requiring extensions. I could just use FTP to publish the sites to separate
directories on the server and there was no conflict between the two sites.

However, now I have enhanced my sites to use features requiring FP
extensions. I can no longer publish to separate directories as the FP
extensions only work when the site is installed at the root directory. Now I
can only publish one site on this server if I want to use the enhanced
features.

Does anyone have a tip how to publish both sites and take advantage of the
FP extensions, without having the sites conflict? Thanks.

If your host supports subwebs, make one, or both, your sites subwebs of the
root web. Then publish the subwebs to their own corresponding subweb.

To change a folder into a subweb:
With the web open in FrontPage, right-click on the folder, then choose
"Convert to Web" from the context menu. There will be a warning regarding
themes, shared borders - click OK.

This must be done on both your local copy and the hosted website.

Have the FP SE installed or repaired (because of your FTP)
Publish one to the root and the second one to a subweb of the root
If they are different domains, have your host set up a subdomain for the sub
web
