I have several machines that have wired and wireless nics in them. Wired
cards are authenticating to DOMAIN1 and are members of the domain, the
wireless cards login to DOMAIN2 and are not members of that domain (so no
machine accounts in domain2). When the machine is sitting at the
CTRL-ALT-DELETE screen the wireless card is trying to authenticate using the
machine name to DOMAIN2 and produces event log warnings. How do I stop this
behaviour?

When the user logs into the machine or domain1 the wireless passes alternate
domain2 credentials and login works fine at that point.

I read about AuthType but that doens't turn of computer authentication.

Thanks for your help.

On the network connection properties, authentication tab, uncheck the option
to log in as computer.
