I have created a new site and imported the original site in from another
server. I am having a problem with the forms, I am unable to add an e-mail
address for the results to be sent to. When I try to add the e-mail in
FrontPage I recieve the following message: "This form cannot be configured t
o
send results via e-mail. The Web site may be located at a disk-based
location, or on a server that has not been configured to send email. Contac
t
your system admin or ISP for more info, Would you like to remove the e-mail
reciepient?"

- I have tried creating a new form with same results.
- I have created a new form in another web sit eon the same server and I
dont have the problem.
- I have confirmed that FrontPage Server Extensions 2002 Server
Administration page has a my smtp server which is the same as the site I
mentioned above this note.

Any help would be very appreciated.

You can't import, you must publish from one server to another.

I did Publish, I logged onto the old server and then published to the curren
t
server after setting up the site and extending the FP Extension.

Sorry fo rusing the incorrect term, publish nor import.

Just ignore the error message you are saving to the your hard disk (Disk
based Web), say no and publish to your remote server. As long as SE are
working you should'nt have any problems test the form from your server not
from your disk.

Its not a matter of ignoring or not, the form just wont work, from the clien
t
end (browser) the error appears when trying to access the form and am at a
dead end.
