i'm using mcms 2002 sp1 and windows 2003

tm

i intall sitemanger (cms server) this way

- IE Webcontrols

- open cmd and to to the folder with Microsoft Content
Management Server.msi and run the following line
msiexec /i "Microsoft Content Management Server.msi"
PASS_SITEMGR_PREREQUISITE="Yes"
don't launch Database Configuration Application after
finish installation

- Install J#.NET Redistributable Package 1.1

- Install Mcms 2002 SP1
Launch DCA
