Depends on the amount of data. For large amounts of data, shipping
tapes by mail/express/truck is the most cost effective way - yeah, it's
low tech, but you don't want to pay for a fast WAN line just for
backup, unless the sites are close and you can access a physical fiber
that's underutilized and the carrier will give you bandwidth for cheap.
Just make sure you package the media properly - transport damage is a
hassle and is easily avoided. Don't forget to test the media at the
receiving site - get a good test method from the media or drive vendor.
Being able to read is only the beginning.
