Hello,

I am running into an issue where messages using an orchestration are
getting stuck in the retry queue but never get retried, the remaining
retry attempts never changes. If I manually suspend the messages and
then resubmit them they get processed normally.
This particular set up uses orchestration in a port as well as an AIC
to lookup some information in a database. I do not know which process
is failing (with no errors in the event log) and before I call MS I
would like to see if anyone has any troubleshooting suggestions.

Thanks
Jose De Sousa

Hi,

Concerning BTS 2002, I have seen similar issues using BTS2002 messaging
without orchestrations. After the server process had a severe crash (caused
by memory exhaustion), the messages did not get picked up any more.

Try the following: instead of suspending the messages and resubmitting them,
stop the server process, go to the server within the administrative console
and say All Tasks->Free Interchanges. Start the server process. See if
messages get processed then.

Sincerely

Joerg Fischer

Hi

I believe I have seen a kb article on something like this. Have you
installed service pack 1?

Yes, I am running SP1 and there are no errors in the event log. Usually
clearing up XLANG will fix the issue but in the last few days that
hasn't worked so I am not sure what is going on.

Thanks
Jose De Sousa
