Sick of spam in your nym messages? Do you download your messages
from
aam only to find that 90 percent of them are spam? Well, if
that's
your problem, you are using an old-fashioned nym; what you need
is
the Asmodeus Nym.
All messages going to an Asmodeus nym are run through spam
filters
before they are encrypted and sent on to aam. No, even Asmodeus
can't
catch all the spam, but it will ensure that most of the spam is
deleted.
Give the Asmodeus Nym a try; it is simple to set up, fast, and
reliable.
Create a key in the form nymname@hausdave.yi.org. For example,
joeblow@hausdave.yi.org.
Send an email to config@hausdave.yi.org that has a message body
that looks like this:
create
subject: somesubject
encrypt: someconventionalpassphrase
Your public key in ascii armored format.
What's that? You need an actual example? OK.
create
subject: memynym
encrypt: 11111111

A nym will be set up within 15 minutes of your message arriving
here,
and a confirmation message will go to alt.anonymous.messages,
with a
subject of memynym.
If anybody sends an email to joeblow@hausdave.yi.org, it will be
encrypted twice - first to your public key, and then
conventionally,
using 11111111 as the passphrase.
Then it will be sent to alt.anonymous.messages with a subject of
memynym.
It's barebones, but easy to create, and reliable. It accepts rsa
and
dss keys.
You can also add up to 5 extra nyms using your original key. See
http://remop.150m.com/nym.html for details, or send an email to
remailer@asmodeus.yi.org, with remailer-nym as the subject.
By the way, when you send the config email, you might want to
encrypt
it to the Asmodeus remailer key, so that it stays encrypted
until it
hits my hard drive. The easiest way to do that is to use
Asmodeus as
the last remailer in the chain.
