looks like a webdav request which was denied. PROPPATCH is explained here:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/d...
_proppatch.asp

Looks like it comes from a local machine - someone having problems with
webdav publishing?

Thanks Jason.

Ill explain a bit more. This is occuring on a Windows 2000 SBS machine, and
the entry in the log file is from the Authentication requests from Exchange
Instant Messenger & the Mesenger Client. I'm damn if i know why it is
occuring, and i have following the limited amount of information available t
o
try and correct the problem. I just thought i'd stick this message in the
group in the hope that somebody would have an answer. If you have any
suggestions, they would be gladly recieved.

Thanks

so I take it this is an OWA site? looks a little to me like it's a change
request to someone's profile (leannet?). Exchange and OWA are handled in MS
by the messaging guys, so an exchange group may be the way forward for you,
rather than an IIS group.

Thanks Jason.

It is the instmsg virtual folder. From what i can gather it is trying to
update the status of the user, but failing on authentication (somewhere!!).
I'm had a few messages in the outlook/exchange group but had no luck.

Thanks for the reply...
