Recipient of 2005 Dr. Dobb's Excellence in programming Award

Sun Fellow Guy L. Steele, Jr. has been awarded the 2005 Dr. Dobb's
Excellence in programming Award, which will be presented to him March
15, 2005 at CMP Media's Software Development Conference. Conducting
research at Sun Labs, Steele has played an integral role in many
standards committees responsible for specifications used today.
