As of today Adobe Netherlands has the Adobe Reader 7.0 for Linux for
Download (http://www.adobe.nl/products/acrobat/readstep2.html).

Dutch entrepreneurs are obliged to declare their Taxes via Internet,
using Adobe 7.0. This obliged Adobe to give the Prerelease of Adobe 7.0
for Linux free for download!

Which makes me wonder whether Suse 9.3 will include it.

Adobe 7 is a huge improvement over previous version, although I still cannot
get the wheel in my mouse to work with Adobe Acrobat Reader.

Any tips?

Thanks for the tip.

You may also want to check out KPDF when Suse 9.3 comes out. It's very, very
nice as well and my wheel works with KPDF.

Well, sort of..
Place the mouse all the way to the right: over the right-edge toolbar.
Then the mousewheel scrolling should work.

My wheel has never worked in Acrobat Reader either (except if I move the
mouse pointer over the scroll bars, and even then it scrolls so slowly
it's not really usable). What toolkit does Acrobat Reader use? Is
there some way to configure it?

Well never mind, I was talking about the older version that came with
SuSE. I didn't know Reader 7 used GTK2, so my wheel works now. :-)
Although I wish it still scrolled faster (maybe there's an option for it
but I haven't found it yet--my global mouse wheel preferences seem to be
ignored in Acrobat Reader).
