Hello,

When you add an attachment into a CMS posting, in the page
appears the icon of the attachment. We would like to show
instead of the icon a link. Do you know if it is possible?

In case it is possible, do you know if we can give the
opportunity to the person adding the attachment to choose
between the icon or the link?

Thanks in advance,
Gloria

Hi Gloria,

just change the UseGeneratedIcon property of the placeholders to false in
the placeholder definition collection editor.

Cheers,
Stefan.

Hi Stefan,

I've seen this property for HTMLPlaceholders, but not in a
XMLPlaceholder.

Please do you know if this property is also for this kind
of placeholders and in this case where I can find it?

Thanks in advance,
Gloria

Hi Gloria,

for an Xml placeholder you are responsible for what is rendered as you are
creating the placeholder control.
That's the reason that this property is not available.

Modify the placeholder control to render only the link and you are done.

Cheers,
Stefan.
